The cultivation of Tobacco in the region of The Tuxtlas begins since pre-Hispanic times, existing nowadays, a well-defined zone in the valley, which is for  excellence the one which gives life to the tobacco activity, industry without doubt has could win an important place in the tobacco world. Currently, are  cultivated mainly three varieties of tobacco: Sumatra, Habano and Negro San Andrés, being the last one mentioned, a unique tobacco variety in the world,  which is considered in its class, as "The best tobacco of the world". Pride of México and of the Mexicans, is exported this raw tobacco to different tobacco  houses in all the world, these houses use it to mix it with other tobaccos to give life and quality to their respective cigar brands.  Our tobacco house, for more than a century has could consolidate its tradition and experience in this cultivation, obtaining harvests which satisfy even the  most demanding experts.
